Such an Orange Night!

Sometimes I am not a great wife and don’t have the motivation and energy to cook dinner when I get home from work at 7. It is just too hard to eat dinner around 8:30. So Jaron told me he would make dinner. When I asked him what he was making he refused to tell me. I was kind of nervous but he is a great cook so I knew I shouldn’t be too concerned.
The end of my shift came quickly and I was ready to go home and eat. Being on campus all day is one of the hardest things for me to do. When he picks me up he is wearing an orange shirt, which isn’t weird at all. But then, I get home and he tells me were having an orange dinner. I can honestly say I was worried. I had no reason to be though. Dinner was amazing….a weird combination but it was delicious.
He made steak (which isn’t orange), shrimp, steamed carrots, and tomato soup. Honestly I couldn’t have married a better man. He is the best.

A weekend in Utah...a little late

So I know I have been awful at blogging but it is the last week of school and I have no time to breathe it is so bad. Jaron has been pulling all nighters doing homework and we are so ready for a break.
Anyway, for Independence Day we packed out car and headed down to Utah. Like I said in an earlier blog we get out of here whenever we can.  It was such a relaxing weekend and we basically just played.
The drive down literally wore us out.   When we got to Pocatello, we were both extremely hungry so we decided to get off and get some food. Normally I would just continue driving but if any of you know Jaron you know he eats all the time. For some odd reason our pit stop added an extra forty-five minutes to our drive. Probably because Pocatello is seriously the hardest city to navigate around. There is literally nothing there, we made one wrong turn and had to get on the freeway and drive 5 minutes to find a fast food place. Seriously, worst place to live if you ask me. Don’t you fret though…We finally made it to Utah.
Friday night we didn’t do anything other than hang out with the family and catch up on some sleep.  It was definitely needed since school had been so crazy.  Saturday is when the real fun began. We hung out at the house all afternoon just spending time with the family and playing with Colby and Emma. Seriously the cutest kids ever. Then around four we decided to go boating. Who would have thought it would be warm enough to swim in snow runoff. I sure didn’t but it was and it felt so good.

Sunday was going to be relaxing but Craig (Jaron’s dad) got a call about a Moose on the Loose and we were invited to tag along so of course we went.  We drove up to the campus of Utah State and saw a moose.  This moose was tricky but they drugged it and we moved it. Before we moved it the moose when on a field trip. We took it to show Colby and Emma. Then we took it to church. Then we took it to its new home where it drank literally ten gallons of water. It was one thirsty animal.

The rest of Sunday we hung out with the family. Carrie and the kids came over and we just played outside and ate dinner.  Monday was the same. We had a family BBQ and relaxed.  Along with relaxing we played some volleyball. Oh and a little background on me…I am awful at volleyball. Right after that we lit of some fireworks for the kids then Jaron and I were back on our way to Idaho. Oh, and traffic from Idaho Falls to Rexburg is literally the worst thing anyone could get stuck in. I decided I am sick and tired of Idaho construction.

A weekend full of firsts... for Jaron

Three weeks ago, yes I am way behind on blogging, Jaron and I went camping with our friends Heidi and Bobby. Jaron and Bobby served together in Brazil and now we live in the same building as them. Friday afternoon we set off for the Mesa falls area. We got to the first campsite and they were full. When we found that out we continued to drive to the next campsite.  We got there and well, they were full too. At this point I was staring to think that our camping trip would be a bust. After going to two campsites and finding out both were full I honestly thought all was lost. Oh was I wrong. As we were leaving the camp host mentioned an unconventional camp site just a mile up the road.  Before heading up the road we decided to stop at the lower falls. Jaron had never been to Mesa Falls and he needed to get the full experience.

After stopping at the falls we were on our way to the campsite. After driving for ten minutes of the turn off I started to loose hope. How far could a campsite be. As we continued to drive we camp upon a man on the side of the road. At this point I really thought we were heading off to a place where we would get murdered because it was so sketchy.  He said there was a campsite just down the road so we kept going. When we finally got to the campsite I was so happy. It was a real place and there were other people camping. Come to find out we were not getting set up to die. It was a beautiful place and we found the perfect place to set up camp. We set up right next to a stream shaded by the trees with a campfire bit right next to the water. I thought it was a great place until the mosquitoes started attacking. Not only mosquitoes but I saw the most disgusting bug I have ever seen. When I freaked out and showed Jaron he picked it up. I was completely grossed out and not too happy to see that he was enjoying what was bothering me.

So we didn’t set up the traditional campsite. We didn’t even set up tents. Really though, who needs to set up tents when you have a large enough car to make a bed in. That’s right we slept in our cars. Because of that camp set up was extremely easy.  Not only did we sleep in our cars but we brought our BBQs to make dinner.  We made steamed BBQ vegetables, the most amazing chicken, potato salad and other finger foods. We were living large while camping if you ask me. After eating we just hung out by the campfire and enjoyed our night under the stars.

Monday morning after breakfast we headed to the main falls. It was the perfect day to go and I was so excited to be there with Jaron..  Mesa Falls is honestly such a beautiful place and such a neat experience to be standing over a waterfall. Especially in Idaho! Who knew there was so much to do here?

After the falls we drove back to Rexburg then headed right back out the door. Our next adventure for the day was Egin Lake. Jaron had never been there as well and we were due to hang out with Nikki and Robby. Jaron and I were on the road once again. When we got there I noticed things were completely different then they were two years before. First off there was a paved dirt road, second you had to pay to enter. So lame if you ask me. Well Jaron and I didn’t have any cash on us, lesson learned always have some cash on you.  When Nikki and Robby arrived we drove to the campsite next to Egin lake and bought an ice cream cone. Apparently if you make any purchase there you can park there. Once we parked we hopped into one car and were on our way.  It was honestly such an amazing day at the lake and I am so sad Nikki left us for Utah.

When Jaron and I were finally home for the day we slept and that’s all we did. We took a three-hour nap I think. We are too old to be in the sun all day and going non-stop. Overall it was an amazing weekend and it was amazing to introduce Jaron to some of the amazing places in Idaho.

Nature Park

Two Sundays ago (sorry this is so late I have been sick) Jaron and I were so lazy. Why wouldn’t we be though? We went to church, rode our bikes to Brolums to return our redbox, ate lunch while watching Casino Royal, hung out, relaxed, and watched the Blind side then decided to go for a bike ride. Jaron and I have been on more bike rides this past few weeks then I have been on in my entire life. No joke. We literally go ALL the time. I can’t complain though. One I’m getting a work out and two it is way fun.  Where did we decide to ride to you ask? Well, the Nature Park of course! If any of you are not fellow BYUI students it is a local park with a pond where you can fish, feed the ducks, Frisbee golf course, and a cute little bike/running trail around it.  Lately we have been really bad at eating our loaf of bread so we decided to feed the ducks. Super cute idea my man had, right? It was such a beautiful ride. The weather was nice, and we were able to talk and laugh. Most of the laughing was done at me though. For some reason I am probably the worst bike rider known to man. And that is not an exaggeration. I can’t ride straight, I freak out, I almost crash every time we ride, I hate getting close to the curb and basically it’s just tough. Don’t you worry though; I am so working on it.

Our AWESOME bikes! We seriously ride them all the time now that it is somewhat warm in whoville.

Perfect night for feeding the little ducks.

I am so lucky to have this handsome man in my life. He is my everything and he sure does make me laugh.

Oh how I love Rexburg Sunsets!

This past Sunday was not nearly as fun. I was sick. I had no energy and just wanted to lay in bed. Just ask Jaron I literally didn’t do anything. Our apartment was so messy and I was super embarrassed. Oh well, what can you do, right? So, basically it was a weekend full of me being super lazy and Jaron wanting to go out and play.  We had one warm day I think which is pretty dang good for a weekend in Rexburg. He stayed inside with me all weekend and even made me homemade chicken noodle soup.  That’s right, my man can cook. And that was basically what happened all weekend. I went through four rolls of toilet paper until Jaron said my nose looked like the Sahara Desert. He is such a sweet man but I guess I was tearing my nose to shreds. At that point I was no longer allowed to use tissues. He made me do snot rockets (sorry for the visual and details) into the sink. And he was serious, he even walked in the bathroom to make sure I was doing that and not using tissue paper. He is strict I tell ya.  Oh and to make things worse he made me put ointment on my nose so I had a red shiny nose all day. I love this man, even when he turns me into a boy blowing snot rockets. Well, now that you are grossed out ill try to post again this week.

Weekend full of dates!

Well, the week after Memorial Day was full of midterms. Let’s be honest, no one likes midterms. So Wednesday was my last day at Rimrock Elementary for my senior practicum. You know what that means right? No classes on Fridays for the rest of the semester. Naturally I wanted to celebrate and go on a date.  Jaron only had one class on Friday because the rest were canceled, how lucky was he. So I decided the best date (and quite affordable) would be the drive-in movie theater.  I convinced him that we should go Thursday night. On Friday the new X-Men movie would be showing but I somehow got him to agree to Thursday night even though we wouldn’t get home until two.  The two movies that were playing Thursday night were Fast Five and Soul Surfer.  I decided it was the perfect mix. One was action and more of a guy movie, and the other was  calm and well just calm and it looked good.  It was a done deal.  I didn’t even have to beg on my knees to get Jaron to take me out. Awesome right? So Thursday came along,  I got home from work at 7:15, I know really late for a college student but we do what we have to do.  Then I hurried home to make Jaron dinner since I knew he would be hungry after his Chemistry study group.  Halfway thorough cooking I had to go pick him up.  This has happened a few times just so you know. I will be cooking dinner and I’ll get a phone call. So I turn the stove  off and run to campus to get home and hope the food is still hot and not ruined.  Most of the time it works out well.  So after I picked him up I finished cooking dinner and Jaron decided we should watch the Bachelorette before we went to the drive-in. By the way, I am so happy he is willing to watch that show with me. He knows how much I love it and he is such a sweetheart to volunteer to watch it with me.
So were watching Bentley be the biggest jerk to Ashely and I am so ready to go to the theater.  Doors opened at 8 and Jaron was convinced we could go later and still be fine since the movie didn’t start until 9:15. Lets just say I was not convinced and ready to go.  I gave in and we finished the episode. By the time we left for the theater it was already 8:30. I knew we were going to get the worst spot ever and I was contemplating if we should even go.  Needless to say we got to the theater and drove in. Lets just say if you ever want to go to the drive-in go on Thursday.  When we arrived there was no one there. We drove around a few times and tried to find our perfect spot to set up camp.  And that is exactly what we did. We parked and set up our bed. This was the best idea ever, we had our “bed”, snacks, drinks, each other and most importantly Chemistry homework.  Ya, that’s right we brought his homework on our date. We’re dedicated students what can we say?

He is so good. Doing homework before and between movies.

Overall it was an amazing date.  We had a little experience though. Before the movies even started I asked him if we would run out of gas. He said no.  So I trusted him. With ten minutes left in the first movie I looked over and saw that our gaslight was on. So we drove off to go get gas. I felt kind of bad because once we had gas our lights were on low and we drove past all of the cars. I bet they hated us.  Oh well, it was something you don’t usually experience at the drive-in.  When Soul Surfer was finally over we were heading home.  It was two in the morning and I was only a little tired. This surprised both of us because I normally go to bed at ten thirty every night. Yes, I am lame. My biggest worry was that Jaron would not want to wake up for class and I would not want to study and take my midterm. That didn’t happen. He was up and ready way before class and I had plenty of time to study and then we were off.  It was our first time riding out bikes to school together and it was awesome. I love riding to school. The best part is no traffic whatsoever!
After our little experience we came home and were trashed. We were both so tired and lazy. I’m pretty sure we sat on the couch and just talked while I was half asleep.  I think we might have even watched more of the bachelorette or so you think you can dance.  Shortly after we got a text from Mitch.  He asked if we wanted to go up to his cabin in Island Park for the night.  At first I was not in the mood because we both had homework and our date night was the drive-in. Then I was convinced. I had never been and it would be fun to get away even though we went down to Utah the weekend before.  Apparently it doesn’t take much convincing to get me to leave Rexburg.
So we were off, then we were lost, then we were found, and finally we arrived at the Peterson Cabin.  A cabin with snow on the ground in June! Seriously, it was June and there was snow. Oh the joys of living in Idaho! Awesome I know.  It was so fun seeing Mitch once we got there. It has been such a long time and Jaron and him act like little kids when they get together. They have so much fun and it made me so happy. So we got there and Jaron got put to work.  The deck was pretty much completely caved in from all of the snow. Crazy right, I guess nine feet of snow will for sure do some damage. So eventually day one of work was well on its way.  While all of the boys were working I was in the kitchen making pizza. I guess I was willing to take that job since it wasn’t too hard at all.  When the night was finally over Alex showed up and we watched I am Number Four. Basically it was a strange movie.
When it was time for bed I was so excited to have a sleepover with Mitch and Alex and Jaron. My three boys. Well it turns out they were kind of freaked out by it and we didn’t have a sleepover.  Jaron and I had our own room across the hall from the other boys.  My once chance to have a sleepover while being married was out the door! All is well though.
The next morning we woke up to an amazing breakfast. Well I did, Jaron slept in because his allergies were going crazy.  When he finally woke up we all ate a delicious breakfast. It was a little insane if you ask me.  I was the only girl and these boys were putting it away. When breakfast was over the boys were all back to work on the deck. They only had a little bit more to go and I was ready for it to be done so we could play. I did get some homework done while they were working though so it was way nice.

When I walked out from doing homework I saw all of the men standing and watching Mitch’s dad working. I honestly asked myself how many elders it takes to use a nail gun. I then found out they needed the weight on top to push it down and two to watch. On a serious note, I married the most attractive man I have ever met. Just look at him! When they were finally done working it was time to play. And by time to play I mean skip rocks for about forty-five minutes. It is crazy to think about how the simple things can entertain us for quite some time. The boys were having a competition to see who could skip the rocks the farthest, the most skips, and the largest rocks. It got interesting.

Once the boys were finally done skipping rocks it was paddleboat time.  We thought it would be way fun if we all went together. We all agreed we would take turns paddling so not one of us would die. So Jaron and I started off with the paddling.  Well we paddled, and we paddled and we paddles some more and we weren’t making any progress. Then we tried paddling backwards. We made some success and I was so happy, but my legs were already sore and it was so hard.  It would have been easier with girls but trying to paddle hard enough and long enough to move three grown men is really hard. I don’t suggest it for anyone. Shortly after I wanted to die Mitch took over. Climbing over a seat and a person while floating on water is kind of scary.  So my hopes were high that Mitch and Jaron would be successful paddling. Well they weren’t. They decided to have Alex come sit on the middle of the boat upfront to see if it would help. Well basically we started sinking. Water was seeping in where the paddles in. Naturally I was terrified I would have to swim back in snow run off…insanely cold water.  So Alex came back with me and once again we were going in circles and not making any progress. So guess who was assigned to sit in the middle of the boat this time? Yea, you guessed it. Me! This time we were more successful and we made it back to shore and by then we all decided it was not worth going out two at a time. We were over the paddleboat.

Once arriving back on shore we decided to take a walk around Bills Island (where the cabin was located). It was a blast. We played the kick the rock through your neighbors feet, a missionary game I guess. We had a rock identifier who stopped to identify many rocks.  And we laughed a ton. Along with all of this we found two cabins for sale. One we randomly walked up to and looked in the windows and just fell in love. Towards the end of our walk we were creeping in another cabin and this old man walks out. Naturally I was a little concerned since we were trespassing. Oh no, this cute old man walked over and said do you want to go in and look. Heck ya we do! So that is exactly what we did. Let me tell you this cabin was nicer then houses. It was huge and awesome with an indoor hot tub overlooking the lake.  I know what you’re thinking, dream cabin. And yes it is. When we finally got done creeping in random peoples cabins and walking we made it back to the cabin and were on our way back to Rexburg. This was by far a great decision.
Oh you thought our weekend full of dates was over? You thought wrong.  When we got back to Rexburg we decided to go to Idaho Falls to try and sell back some of Jarons old clothes to one of those buy back places. So we drove down there and dropped the clothes off.  While they were calculating we decided to go to Buckle and return Jarons jeans.  They had holes in them after only one year and I was kind of frustrated. So they switched them out and we were on out way. It was much easier then I expected. Then we were off to dinner. Jaron wanted steak so he picked Sizzler. It was seriously so good. I decided it was a pretty good place to go with a husband who eats more than a horse. He had steak and unlimited shrimp. He ate it all, and more shrimp. All together he ate sixty shrimp. That’s my man for ya.
When we got home we got a text from Robby asking if we wanted to go to the arcade. Lets be honest, no one can turn down the arcade. So we agreed. We were then on our way to play games at the Craze.  Jaron and I had never been before and we thought why not. Lets go have fun.  We played multiple games and won many tickets. The best game was Deal or No deal. We had some good rounds and some bad rounds.  All four of us played one round and we won! We got 400 tickets and it was awesome. Jaron and Robby were running around like crazy boys and Nikki and I were celebrating as well. We looked like little kids and it was awesome. We also bought some awesome prizes with our tickets.  We bought fake mustaches, candy, and tattoos. Yes we are grown ups, but I never said I would act like one!

Then we slept. Literally we got home and slept for so good that night.  After a weekend on the go we needed it. And we enjoyed every minute of our sleep!

Memorial Day Weekend

What happens in the Clyde family when there is a three day weekend? Yup, that’s right. We pack our stuff to get the heck out of Rexburg for a few days. Don’t get me wrong I love this little town but every now and again we need a break. And that is exactly what we got. As soon as Jaron was done with class on Friday we were on the road. Well, kind of. Before we were allowed to leave we had to stop at Jarons favorite place in the entire world. Taco Bell…for a girl who grew up not eating there ever it is weird to live with someone who wants to go there ALL the time. Once he had his burritos he was satisfied and we were on our way to what we thought would be a nice warm weekend in Utah.  We thought wrong and defiantly packed the wrong clothes.
Right when we got to Utah we decided to go on a shopping spree. Not for clothes though. We needed food! What better place to buy some chicken then Costco? Exactly, there is no place better.  So we stocked up and headed up the road to the Clyde home. When we got there we were so surprised to be the only people around. We thought we would show up and everyone would be there. Apparently we thought wrong quite a bit this trip.  Within a few hours the gang showed up and the fun began. I can honestly say the Clyde family is pretty entertaining, I guess it goes well with what Jaron says “We are the weirdest heard I have ever seen”. First off who refers to their family as a herd? Oh that’s right, my adorable husband.  When the night was over Saturday was completely planned. We were all going fish hunting. I can honestly say I had mixed feelings since I had never been fishing, everyone says it is boring, and it just didn’t seem all that fun to me.
Oh was I wrong.  As soon as we were ready Jaron, his dad Craig and I headed over to the new Pleasant Grove fishing pond. As soon as we arrived Colby was walking around with his dead fish, stepping on his tail and so proud of his little dead fishy.  I learned “fish hunting” is anything Colby knows more about then I do.  Just a little information on Colby, he is one of the cutest kids I have ever met but he is one intimidating kid. I always tell Jaron I need to learn about hunting, different animals, and apparently now fishing.  The only reason I need to study up on this stuff is so a three year old doesn’t know more about everything that has to do with the outdoors then a 22 year old. Let me just tell you…I have A LOT of learning to do.
Colby and his fish. Just agree with me he is so dang cute.

Oh yea, I forgot to tell ya’ll this post has pictures of people other than Jaron and I! I know its about time. I bet you all are sick and tired of looking at us. So the rest of our “fish hunting” trip was awesome.  Even though I wasn’t able to fish I was able to enjoy the company of loved ones.

Alright and let’s be honest, you are all jealous of my super attractive fisherman.

As the morning went on the fish just kept biting, and not just for anyone. They were all going straight to Colby. Who knew a three year old would be such a dang good fisher? I sure didn’t.
Colby and Grandpa enjoying a day at the lake fish hunting.  I think the best part about this picture is the fact that Craig is wearing Colbys hat.

Don’t get me wrong though, my man was catching fish as well. But not only was he catching fish he caught himself a Colby.  Not on purpose of course.  Colby walked by his pole while he was doing something and he got caught. It was probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Not that he was hooked but the fact that he was so nervous. Oh how I love this kid.
Yup, thats my man and his kill
Releasing his cutest catch of the day!
Of course I cant forget the mother of this cute kid.  Liv is seriously one of the best moms I have met. Her kids are so precious and fill my day will laughter. Seriously though, she is even super cute when fishing.  She is helping me become a Clyde and I’m not even joking, she knows so much about hunting and fishing and is such a great moral support. I am so glad I have her as a sister-in-law.
Seriously the cutest mom ever
As the day went on I was able to capture one of the best relationships I have ever seen. This relationship is between Colby and his Grandpa.  Craig and Colby are seriously two peas in a pod. Colby loves him more than anything and Colby had a blast fish hunting with him. Which I understand completely. Not a day goes by when everyone isn't laughing at one of his "Craigisms".

Overall day one of our vacation was awesome. We went fish hunting and then had a BBQ with the fish they caught.  The rest of the day included just hanging around with the family. Later Saturday night we went out shopping and guess what I got? Well, what I got is completely unexpected from me so I'll just tell you. I got an Ugly Stick. For everyone who has no clue what that is its a fishing pole.  Ya thats right I got my FIRST fishing pole and it is awesome.  You may ask why I am so excited over a fishing pole. Well why would I not be, it is black and hot pink. Coolest fishing pole I have ever seen and I am determined to catch a ton of fish with it!
Sunday morning when church was over we loaded into the car and were off to the cemetery in Heber Utah.  The cemetery honestly looked beautiful. That might sound really strange to read but it was awesome seeing how many flowers had been placed for loved ones who have passed.  I can honestly say I had never seen a cemetery with that many flowers in my entire life. Well anyway, when we got there the family cleaned off Jasons grave and placed the flowers.  It was a neat experience and I am excited to now be apart of it for many years to come.

Colby snuggling up with Grandpa

Jaron is so good with his nieces and nephews. He is going to be the best dad one day.

The rest of Sunday we had a family dinner with everyone and just hung out. It was a great way to end the day and prepare for our Monday full of fun.  So Monday morning rolled around and since I now had a fishing pole we were off to the lake to go fishing again.  We got online, got me a one day pass and I was determined to catch my first fish!
When we got there Jaron, being the best husband that he is, taught me how to cast and everything else I needed to know in order to be a pro fish hunter.  Oh and don't worry, I am almost pro. And, yes I caught my first fish. It was awesome.  However, it happened so fast. I don't even have a picture with my first victim.  I totally would but we decide to let my little fishy back into the lake to swim free.  We didn't want to take fish home since we already had meals planned for the day.  Overall it was a fun day of fishing.

In case you didn't notice Monday was way cold!

Jaron saving the life of a fish!

After fish hunting we headed back to the house for lunch.  After lunch it wad decided that we would shoot bows.  Another bit of information, I married into a family of hunters.  At first I thought it was kind of weird. Where I grew up no one every went hunting and it was basically a foreign language to me. Well it still kind of is.  So imagine my reaction when I heard we were going to shoot bows.  Liv brought her bow over and they thought I would be able to pull it back. Lets just say I am super weak. So they loosened it all the way down to 35 pounds.  I can totally lift 35 pounds in a box or a kid but give me a bow and it is impossible. So basically I am a failure at pulling a bow back. Then they brought me one of the old school bows. Long story short, I can pull it back! I can pull it back but can't aim for the life of me. We went over to shoot the bear target and it is a good thing there is a wall there. I did hit the bear three times though. Not where I was aiming of course, but I hit it.
This weekend was exactly what Jaron and I needed.  A break from school and life in Rexburg was amazing. We were able to spend time with family and just relax the two of us.  We got to chase bunnies and catch them in the backyard, went fishing, and did hardly any homework and didn't feel bad about not doing any.  After this Memorial day weekend I can't want for out next three day weekend. Who knows where we will end up.

Thursday, June 2, 2011

Well basically Jaron and I spend the majority of our time doing homework. We have managed to get out and do a few fun things! I promise this week I will blog about our amazing three day weekend down in Utah with the Clyde herd.  Well…where to begin. At the beginning of the semester Jaron decided he wanted to play competitive soccer. Here, at BYU-Idaho we don’t have teams that play other colleges. You have to play either intermural, or on a competitive team. Once try outs were over Jaron was always tired. He would run from school home to change, to soccer practice, and home to do homework. However when he got home from soccer he was way to tired to do homework. After one week of playing on the team he said h wasn’t sure if he wanted to play because it was interfering with school. I was so happy when he said that but of course I was going to let him decide if he wanted to continue playing or not.  The next week he skipped out on both practices and that Friday he told me he quit. He made the decision all on his own.  I felt bad for him; he loves the game and was so excited to play. At the same time I am so happy he decided to quit so he would have the extra time to do his homework.
Jaron during his first and last soccer game.

They lost their game by one point but Jaron did amazing. I don't know that much about soccer but he was running around the field like he owned the place.  I was so proud of Jaron and I am so lucky I get to call him my husband.
Huge, I know!

And the boys. Jaron and his good friend Dan. When you put these two boys together it is impossible not to have a good time and laugh your head off.
On our way home we drove by the SPUD. Literally the largest potato I have ever seen. Well of course it isn’t real it was at the Spud Drive in movie theater.  Why do I bring this unusually large fake potato up? We stopped to take a picture, duh! There was no way I was leaving that out of our adventures. It is defiantly too cool to leave out.  I hope you get a kick out of this potato like Jaron and I did.
